Why aīre ventures?
WHAT WE DO
We provide strategic advisory and technical support to leaders and communities that desire to build technology, innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems that are diverse, equitable, inclusive and accessible for all. We also scale new and existing ventures that align with this mission through our venture builder arm.
WHO WE SERVE
We help leaders and communities answer the question: do we have A REDI ecosystem? We approach our partnerships and work through a lens of access, racial equity, diversity and inclusion (A REDI).
HOW WE SERVE
Our team brings to the table what many emerging markets across the country are seeking to be REDI: intentional design, strategic direction, data driven outcomes and experiential evaluation.
As experienced practitioners, we help communities architect an ecosystem roadmap by providing:
assistance to develop strategies that are outcome-oriented and inclusive
support to create actionable plans to bridge gaps in access to capital, opportunities and resources for founders
data driven frameworks for accountability at an ecosystem level that measure both diversity and equity KPIs and founder experiences
THE AĪRE APPROACH
Ecosystems play a critical role in bridging systemic gaps in access to opportunity, economic mobility and capital in its many forms. We approach each engagement by evaluating the potential scope of impact in accordance with six components of a functional ecosystem: people, principles, priorities, partners, programs and platforms.
We Believe
Intentional design begins with trust, transparency and belonging in mind. A REDI ecosystem doesn't just appear out of thin aīre. That is why we take time to understand various perspectives through storytelling, uncover hidden narratives, and build relationships grounded in integrity.
Center the innovator experience. Too often, institutional engagement and input overshadows individual voices of founders and innovators. When we elevate lived experiences as a primary source of expertise, particularly of those most marginalized groups, we create a more connected, inclusive and accessible community.
Support local leaders and groups to build cohesively and collaboratively. Ecosystems strategies that reinforce existing efforts instead of replacing them yield a more collaborative community. That’s why we value solutions that activate local assets and talent.
Develop resource and social infrastructure that adapts to serve individual needs. We use the Innovation Currency™ indicators to measure six (6) forms of personal capital, which allows us to identify ecosystem priorities that are responsive to the needs of individuals and the community as a whole.
Everyone is accountable: we openly share data insights at both micro (organizational) and macro (ecosystem) levels to help establish a baseline for improving inclusive experiences and equitable outcomes.
WHERE WE WORK
While we are based in South Florida, we are eager to put our learnings to work alongside other leaders and ecosystem builders to cultivate similar impact in other cities nationally and around the world.
